Mayura is the Sanskrit word for peacock, one of the sacred birds of the Hindu mythology.
This rich decorative design is festooned with radiant peacock feathers, symbols of benevolence and good fortune in Indian culture.
The feathers are interlaced with silver ornamental antique Indian jewellery, coral and turquoise beads, totems and trinkets.
